Cloud Telephony

Gridion's cloud telephony is a hosted PBX. The phone system runs on our platform in the AWS Cape Town region, and your phones connect to it over the internet or a secure link. You get the features of a big office switchboard without buying, housing or maintaining one.
What you get
- South African business numbers – numbers for your company, on SIP trunks from South African carriers.
- Desk and cordless phones – desk phones for the office and DECT cordless handsets for people who move around.
- IVR / auto attendant – “Press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts”, with office-hours and after-hours routing.
- Voicemail – per extension, with voicemail to e-mail.
- Call recording – for training, quality and records.
- Extensions, ring groups and transfers – between desks, branches and staff working from home.
How it is built
- Multi-tenant FusionPBX platform – each business has its own separate phone system on a shared, managed platform.
- Secure WireGuard links – an encrypted tunnel between your site and our platform keeps your calls private and stable.
- Voice on its own network – on networks we manage, phones run on a separate voice VLAN so calls are not disrupted by other traffic.
- Automated 24/7 monitoring and alerts – the platform and the trunks are checked automatically, so problems are found and fixed quickly.
